The highlight of our stay was the delightful parade of illuminated boats, which brought the riverside to life with an array of colorful lights. It was like stepping into a fairytale wonderland, with themed models that rivalled even the most famous attractions. We were completely enthralled by the magical atmosphere.
Road noise at night.

I absolutely adored the charming cottage decor at The Hill. It had a cozy and homely feel, with beautiful little touches that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and easily accessible for senior people like myself.
I would have appreciated if there were more activities specifically tailored for senior guests.

I absolutely adored the charming decoration of the hotel, especially in the general areas. The vintage furniture and floral curtains brought back lovely memories of my youth. The hotel was also easily accessible for senior people like myself, with well-placed handrails and comfortable seating areas throughout.
I do wish the children working there could provide more activities specifically tailored for seniors.

The road noise was quite disruptive at night, as closing the window tighter would have been beneficial. the mattress was quite firm, resulting in discomfort for a romantic escape.
